Rights
On August 1, 2008 permission was granted for the LMA:
"I'm not entirely clear on how this works, but I'll give it a try. My name is P. Emerson Williams, and I am the main mover behind two projects, one, Choronzon, which has been active for 22 years and Veil of Thorns, which has been active for about 17 years. I would like to have both bands added to the list of bands that permit sharing of recordings of live shows. Anything goes, from uploading to the Live Music Archive, to people using part or all of any track for redistribution alone or as part of a podcast, broadcast, email attachment, remix, mashup... anything short of selling the music.
I have recordings of three shows Veil of Thorns played live on the radio back when we were young and supple that I'd like to upload myself, and I know there are several recordings from club dates kicking around. The hope is that by opening up and sharing like this, other folks will share recordings we don't have.
